Great service. Everyone was very friendly and professional. They took time to fully explain everything that they recommended for service. They didn’t push anything and let me decide what I wanted to have done. Some shops will try to upsell you on additional services and push them on you, but the team at Auto-Bon were not like that.It was nice having a loaner vehicle available as well. You don’t see that at most independent shops.I’ll definitely bring my Land Rover back for all routine service.Highly recommended!

I found auto-bon to be extremely helpful in addressing several issues with my 2012 Honda Pilot. Besides taking care of a noisy wheel bearing and normal maintenance, I also needed the passenger mirror replaced and the drivers side power window switch console. Other items such as the suspension, struts and shocks were checked and evaluated, Some suspension parts, due to age, required replacement. When all was ready, I left with my drivers side window open ... and a mirror that was no longer on the brink of falling off.As I drove off, however I was surprised at how well the car handled and felt on smooth and rough pavement.I had no idea how new suspension parts would affect braking. Stopping distances and the smoothness of deceleration was very apparent, something I hadn't experienced since the car was new.I'm very pleased with the work done at Auto-Bon.The staff is great, Caroline, at the desk is friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. John the manager and Ray whom I also spoke with are both great people and I can say now, excellent mechanics.I've used Honda dealers, local auto service centers and national car service centers, none have treated me more like a neighbor than this shop.I can say that I've found my auto repair and service center.I will be returning to Auto-Bon for any and all my automotive needs.Thank you

The staff at Auto-Bon are the most honest, accommodating and professional group of people I have ever run across in an auto repair setting. They run their business with true integrity which is hard to find these days. They are informative and make recommendations but do not push or bully the customer into performing any services like some other businesses I have come across. They seem to truly care about the customer’s safety and satisfaction. Their waiting area is clean and comfortable as are their courtesy vehicles. I will not take my vehicles anywhere else!

Lots of diagnostic capability and detail. John is knowledgable and dedicated. I felt I was in good hands. It wasn't an inexpensive repair, but I feel confident it was done right. My 12 year old Mini is running great now. I would take it back to Autobon for any future repairs.

After a few failed attempts diagnosing issues with two different Mercedes dealers in the area, they were able to quickly figure out the issue and recommend a fix. I will now only trust both my new and vintage Mercedes to them. Highly recommend.

i originally left a negative review, but am updating it based on their response. My car was towed to their shop on AAA's recommendation, which included a 10% discount on labor & parts. They were prompt and professional, providing an estimate for $150 battery & $100 in labor to replace the battery. I felt it was high, but accepted it. Then at pick up the charges increased and I wasn't made aware until AFTER they ran my payment. Ultimately I was charged over $350 to replace a battery with over $200 in labor. About a month after Rai's dismissive post, the owner, Jim, contacted me directly. He said my review stuck out to him, so he looked into it further. He apologized and explained there was a billing error. I was unintentionally double charged for some labor. He is correcting the mistake. It is very clear the owner takes pride in his business and cares about customer satisfaction.

It was a very difficult repair and when they had to source parts and do extra work they stood behind their initial quote for the job. I was really happy to find this mechanic, as it seemed like a nice, honest family business. While I have no doubt that they are honest, my experience with them was not good. First, they forgot to fix part of my car. Then they told me they would get me the part I needed, but never called me back. Then, 4 MONTHS LATER, they called me to tell me there had been a glitch and my payment had never gone through! The owner apologized after I told him how disappointed I was, and said he would fix the part they forgot to fix at cost, but then of course he never called me back. I hate to submit negative feedback on a small local business, but after they failed to resolve this, I felt like I needed to say something.

The issue was with the electric water pump, a common item to fail, and even though it was short notice he had the car ready for me later that day. I'm already driving the car again and I'm so grateful because I know my situation could have been a lot worse. I called on Friday 9/7 and explained to the service manager that my business truck(2016 Ram Promaster 1500) had lost the ability to generate headlights. I was provided an appointment for Monday 9/10 @ 8am. The technician who serviced my truck found a Tech Service Bulletin related to the headlights and repaired the truck in minimal time enabling me to get back to work. I would never allow this facility to service my CLA250 again. I have no complaints in regards to the work they performed but I was extremely disappointed by the treatment I received from Ray the service adviser. I brought my car in to replace breaks and rotors. When I dropped off my vehicle, I mentioned my AAA discount only to be told to wait until after I pick up my vehicle, which I had no problem with. After picking up my vehicle, and left the facility, I noticed that my AAA discount was not applied. I contacted Ray and left a message asking if I can be credited for the discount that was never applied. After getting a call back, to my astonishment, Ray went on to blame me (the customer) for not mentioning it again at the time of pick-up and that there was nothing he could do to re-open the invoice. To his credit, he did offer to apply and double my discount at my next service visit. However, this did not provide me any comfort since I spent over $1300 and would prefer if my discount was applied to my most recent visit. To further add to this negative experience, Ray went on to question whether I had removed a "tag" from the key fob of the loaner vehicle that they had given me while my car was being serviced. I had not and had no clue what he was talking about. After realizing that our conversation was no longer going any where, Ray went on to hang up the phone on me. I was beyond shocked and disappointed on how I was treated. I will never bring my vehicle back to this establishment.

These guys are great. I owe them lunch. I was under a time crunch to get some repairs done, I drove over to their shop to explain the car trouble and make an appointment. I went in and said, "here's my car trouble and that I needed the work done before the holiday weekend." They knew what it probably was, they looked at it right then and there, they were right, and in less than 20 minutes fixed my car that failed emissions. I really wanted to give 5 stars but after my last interaction with them I can't do that. I have been going to Auto-Bon for years, I even purchased a car from them back in 2010. Jim is great! He has always been super kind and accommodating. I ended up moving out of the area so I wasn't able to continue going to their shop anymore. However, I recently moved back so I decided to take my Subaru to them since I've had such great experiences in the past. I went in for a standard oil change, and they did a thorough inspection of my vehicle. I am glad they did because we discovered that both of my rear bearings are bad and need to be replaced ASAP. I made an appointment for the following week. This repair unfortunately came at a really bad time because it was going to cost over $800 to fix both which is money I really don't have. I was given a recommendation for a shop that a friend goes to and they were able to give me a more affordable quote. I called Auto-Bon to cancel my appointment, and I don't know the name of who I spoke with (it wasn't Jim) but he had an attitude with me from the moment I said I wanted to cancel. Once I told him why he continued with the attitude telling me that the other mechanic is going to be using Chinese parts and they won't last and I will get what I pay for. It wasn't what he was saying that bothered me but it was HOW he said it. He really made me feel stupid because I wasn't going to get it repaired by them. Maybe he is right but I didn't deserve to be spoken to that way. It's his attitude alone that makes me want to no longer go there. Customers don't deserve to be treated like that. Yes they do great work with good quality which costs money that some of us don't have, and I really feel like I shouldn't have been spoken down to like that because I can't afford it.

In reply to the owners response there was nothing taken out of content I have spent thousands of dollars at this facility over the years to receive this type of service and disrespect from the owner. Bottom line Autobon told me my car needed an engine and I took it to Mercedes Of Northhaven and it only needed a radiator and a reseal on the oil cooler that was replaced by Auto Bon Second time car misdiagnosed and no accountability. I will never return your recommend

Auto-bon was just amazing. Not only did they repair the air compressor, but they found two other major issues that needed to be fixed that were missed by Pep Boys. Auto-bon also found that Pep Boys had repaired something that did not need to be fixed! Auto-bon quoted us a price with what needed to be fixed, and what may need to be fixed in the future. There were no surprises, no strings attached, and no hidden fees or costs. This place has customer service and stratification as a top priority. We drove over 20 miles to Auto-bon, and I will continue to drive 20 miles to this repair shop after how well we were treated. I went to Auto-Bon for a simple repair, but the manufacturer provided defective parts on multiple occasions. I spent more than a week in an Autobon loaner at no charge and they advocated with the manufacturer to get the company to pay the expenses past the first repair. It was frustrating, but Auto-Bon did all that was possible and spent the time to keep me apprised of the situation as the ordeal ebbed and flowed. Thanks Auto-Bon.

This shop is fantastic. I recently purchased a new BMW and did not know much about these cars. The first time I called was at 4:50PM on a Friday evening (they close at 5PM). Rai, the service manager, talked to me for a good 20 minutes about things I should consider when buying a used BMW. After I purchased the car the first thing I did was bring it in for preventative maintenance. They went through this car top to bottom and gave me recommendations on what we should do now and what could wait. Rai was great to deal with through the whole process. I made a reservation to have an oil change (the car mileage is just above 11,000 miles) and was told that the air filters in the engine compartment and into the cabin, needed to be replaced. The total bill (which I expected to be in the $ 50.00 range for just the oil change) came to $ 207.27! It would have been appropriate to be shown the old filters which were replaced.

I came here with my Jeep Wrangler TJ. I bet that this place is good with other foreign cars but they do not know how to handle a jeep. My rear pinion seal was leaking and they told me my yoke was scored. They proceeded to tell me a yoke costs 550 bucks when in reality there 50 to a 100 bucks. Then they replaced an 02 sensor which was aftermarket which set off a bunch of other error codes off in the car because it was not the correct sensor. It was a big pain in the ass to figure out. I took the car to a jeep specialist who solved the problem and also told me that the yoke was not scored. I'm not sure if they were trying to make a quick buck or what. I will not be going back there. Glad I didn't waste my money to replace a good yoke.

I own a 2009 Saab 9-3 Sportcombi Aero, and during the past few months I experienced engine misfire issues that caused my car to hesitate during heavy (passing) load. My Saab is special to me and therefore it was important that the problem be found and corrected. I worked with a local Saab dealer to identify and fix the problem, which despite a half day of work and a return visit within the next week, where they held my car for roughly a week, they were unable to find and fix my Saab. Their solution was to do more diagnostics beyond the ignition coils and spark plugs to find the root cause which would add roughly $1500. to the already $850. spent. I took my car back and contemplated a new vehicle, but could not see trading it in when I believed the problem was fixable. I researched and found Auto-bon, and after one visit, which resulted in replacement of a set of ignition coils and plugs, I have my Saab back operating as if it was new. They even went through my car to insure there was nothing else it needed before giving it back. I now have a new place to service my car!! Thank you Auto-bon.

Jim was extremely helpful. I called the night before and he was able to have our car's oil changed the next morning promptly at 8:00am. At 8:30, when completed, he told me our brakes were completely shot. I was leaving for a long trip the next morning. Jim went out of his way to make sure he could have the brakes completed the same day, and rescheduled the loaner car to accomodate me. Car was brought in for a dix on the oil pan which had broken bolts from some previous work done by another shop. Repair was made and leak stopped. Standard oil chang made. A/C checked and problem of no cold air found. Opted to not have repair done at this time. Have been very pleased with the work by Auto-Bon on both my vehicles. Will continue to use for all work on the cars.
